Hi, my name is Herman and I am an Old Military Guy (OMG). Retired military is probably the right term. Traveling domestically and internationally is my passion. I love meeting new people and visiting new places. Learning new things and breaking old paradigms is always fun for me.

 

The intent of this site is to help other vets and anyone else that finds my posting useful. That is my number one goal. I hope you find something on the site that helps, informs, or inspires you.

What is it that fuels you? For me, it’s helping other Vets. I love writing about my daily life and what interests me and sharing all of my thoughts with my readers. The site is an open and honest platform about how to make the best of what comes my way.

I will share with you my thoughts,  my rants, thought-provoking comments and try my hand at a little bit of humor once in a while. I did say try, right? LOL. One thing you can count on is I will be open and honest. I will give my opinion based on my background and experiences. Did I tell you I am opinionated? Yep, I am. But I am also open to listening to other people's ideas and thoughts. Let's just try and be civil in our exchanges.
